As the first city in Georgia listed in its entirety on the National Register of Historic Places, Adairsville celebrates its history inside the 1847 W & A Railroad Depot.  The Adairsville Rail Depot Age of Steam Museum introduces visitors to Adairsville’s role in the Civil War’s Great Locomotive Chase, as well as its contributions to the peach and chenille industries.
